Although Japanese is not my native language, I have grown so accustomed to it that I now find myself watching Hollywood movies only in Japanese dubbing.
Japanese is often described as one of the most difficult languages in the world, with its complex system of particles, honorifics, metaphors, and kanji characters that have multiple readings. Yet once you become familiar with it, its depth becomes truly captivating.

For example, the correct expression is “Tomodachi ni ai ni kōen ni ikimashita” rather than “Tomodachi wo ai ni kōen e ikimashita.”
And although the traffic light is green, it is called an “ao shingō,” literally a “blue” signal. Language is indeed a mysterious thing.
Such a language cannot be mastered through textbooks alone.
Some learners study diligently with textbooks, while others acquire Japanese naturally through manga or karaoke.
